Software Engineer - DevOps/SRE
Traceable AI (Now Traceable by Harness) (July 2024 – Present)
- Quickly ramped up on the team’s technology stack—including Kubernetes, GCP, AWS, Terraform, Harness CI/CD, Prometheus, Ansible, and internal automation tools—to effectively contribute to deployment pipelines, infrastructure and production operations.
- Designed and Implemented a highly scalable monitoring system, extending the company’s existing Prometheus + Grafana stack with Thanos.
- Contributed to internal tools - debug Kafka Streams applications in live clusters, assist with MongoDB Upgrades, multiple dashboards to drill down on customer data, AWS Lambda functions, GCP Cloud Functions
- Helped manage high throughput Apache Kafka and Pinot nodes part of a sophisticated ingestion pipeline
- Played a crucial role in the organizations’ strategic cloud migration from GCP to AWS and took full ownership of MongoDB data migration - devised a migration plan to transfer 1.5 TiB of data with less than 2 hours of down time for our largest production cluster hosting 50+ Tenants
